The YMCA of Salem County lost a good friend and advocate this week when Bernie Heppinstall passed away at the age of 86. Bernie was a fixture at our Y for over 20 years.
Serving as a member of the Board of Directors including 3 years as President, and many years as Vice President. Bernie helped lead our Y through some difficult times. Bernie Heppinstall made a difference in so many lives. He will be missed.
